The Layer Ring is a circle of individual stones made from alluvial gold, each layered and textured like sandstone. Each layer holds something of what came before. Fragments that have been gathered and shaped over time, becoming something whole. We are much the same, shaped by the places, people and experiences that become a part of who we are. Handcrafted in my North Canterbury studio.
